Links

Also, don't be offended that we have no links; it's only because I have no idea how to add them, and I haven't had the chance to learn from DeEtte yet.

Pain in the butt!

Ok, so after spending like 2 hours trying to arrange all the pictures for the other post, I managed to be retarded! I have no idea why there is so much stupid space on the bottom of it, and I can't get rid of it. It's very possible that I will delete it and try to redo it, but not right now. I apologize for the incompetence.

Naomi's new haircut!

Finally the long awaited post!!! Hey, I never said that I would be great at keeping up on the blog. We are trying to get some gym pics; we just keep forgetting to take the camera every time we go, so fear not… there will be gym pics soon. We are all enjoying our current gymnastics filled life, rips for Jamie, needing to pee every time I jump on the trampoline for me, and 4-6 classes a week for Naomi. She loves it and is improving.

We had a great Thanksgiving, and the house became a mini-salon, for I cut Jamie’s and Naomi’s hair. I cut Naomi’s hair off and we love it! She looks so cute, so behold the pictures!!! I also spent way too much time that day fixing my hair straight; it’s way too long, and I can’t wait to cut it all off.

Other pictures include Naomi helping to decorate the tree and a couple of family pics. Sorry that this is short, but I know that you guys only want the pics anyway. I’ll try to start posting more than once a month, so keep checking in :)

Tomfoolery and such

  • This is Jamie posting this. We get little digital internet stones thrown about our faces for the crime of slackheartedness in relation to the blog, and I make no apologies for that. It only makes me laugh. Nobody “tagged” me though! Luckily for you I relish the opportunity to embarrass myself and others. Following is a random list of things you didn’t know…. for a reason. I’m only hoping that after you read this you hang your heads in shame at having shared such trivial and meaningless insights into your adorable little lives. (for anyone over the age of 40 reading this blog please consult your most trusted family member under the age of 36, who also reads our blog, to confirm that I am indeed joking, and generally not to be trusted or taken seriously).

    1) Sometimes when I have wicked gas I like to cuddle up next to the wife and solicit affection of the hugging variety. After some tender embracing I ask her to squeeze harder….. and then I fart.
    2) Every night me and the wife sing to Naomi. We sing 3 songs. I do not have a pleasant singing voice, and the wife is borderline tone deaf. I’ve determined there must be some sort of divine auto correct added to our voices before it hits her ears, cause she insists upon it still, but trust me friends…. it’s an ugly scene.
    3) The wife and I have designated ourselves poo pals due to our propensity to hash out some of the logistical details of our lives while one or the other of us is occupying the pot.
    4) Carly has a deep and abiding hatred for children without noticeable arm hair.
    5) Carly has a tendency to blurt out truths that are better kept to one’s self such as: “he’s actually 5 ft 4 and three quarters, I measured.”

Are you not entertained? I’m a ninja blogging pirate! I got a tattoo commemorating my internet blogging superiority.

Dad Throwin down for dinner:

Carly and I both work part time now at a superior Gymnastics facility called Deltchev Gymnastics. The guy who owns it is a Bulgarian Olympic medallist. Carly already fits in perfectly while I’m still trying to decipher the broken English of the Russian who teaches the boys. The up up side is that we get access to a full gym. I’ve gone immediately over board and ripped both hands. This picture is after a week or so of healing. It was much uglier to begin with. Carly had me fix the rips with super glue. My goal is to re-learn a double back so I can freak out kids. Naomi takes like 6 classes a week now and she’s turning into a little gym rat. It’s cool. Carly is posting a more substantive and meaningful post in the very very near future.

We broke down...

After many hints from a few family members, I have decided to join the life of bloggers. All is well with our little family. We had a fun Halloween; Naomi dressed as Belle and looked adorable in the beautiful dress that my mom made. She insisted that I wear some sort of costume, so I wore my pink wig, and she labeled my costume as "dress up". We went with her cousin, Logan, to the trunk or treat at church for awhile and then came back to hit a few houses before bedtime. Fun was had by all!

I started coaching gymnastics this week at the gym Naomi had already been attending. It is a lot of fun and most of the classes that I teach are preschool age, so Naomi usually comes with me. Jamie will also start coaching at the same gym in just a few weeks, and he is really looking forward to "playing" on all of the equipment.

That's about it for our life right now, but I will make an effort to keep up on all the excitement and adventure that our little family has to offer, so stay tuned...
